The action extends from Silicon Valley to Boston by way of Charlottesville, Virginia, with unexpected twists and turns along the way. This new work by a technically savvy, emerging novelist is a compelling, suspenseful, and enjoyable read. I highly recommend it as a worthwhile addition to anyone's read-for-pleasure collection; and I look forward to seeing more of K. Sena Makeig's work.
A page-turner with strong emotional underpinnings that picks up on current events and gives them a twist. Likeable protagonists unravel a creepy but all-too-convincing conspiracy ln the world of cyberspace.
This book was a page-turner. Well-constructed story line, interesting characters, kept my attention.
The description of One Finger On The World -- a story about hackers, FDA drug testing, LGBT, coming of age, sex and the Russian mob – seemed quite ambitious to me, especially for a first-time author. I wasn't sure so many different elements could be pulled together in one story, at least not in a believable way, without seeming fantastic. But, K. Sena Makeig did it, and seamlessly. She did a wonderful job telling the stories. I was drawn in…I could visualize the scenes in my head, and I really got to know each character. She took me on an adventure full of twists and turns, and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I enjoyed reading this book so much that I had to pace myself as I got closer to the end because I didn’t want it to be over! And, I love how she named each chapter with a song. I recommend this book, and I cannot wait to read the sequel!
